Why Everyone Should Exercise

I work out everyday even when I don't feel like it. Everybody has that feeling of fuck this shit I don't feel like it. Once you get passed that initial feeling of resistance it's all down hill. The battle is all mental. Your body is just an extension of the mind.

 

Something so simple can change so much. Working out is so important because physical activity or exercise can improve your health and reduce the risk of developing several diseases like type 2 diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular disease. Physical activity and exercise can have immediate and long-term health benefits. Most importantly, regular activity can improve your Quality of Life.


Exercise improves oxygen flow to the brain. Essentially, when you start exercising, you feel better because your brain and body can do more. You're not winded walking up stairs. Your heart rate and blood pressure goes down, which decreases your risk for a number of diseases and gives you more energy.


Exercise helps children's physical development. It develops muscle strength which helps to reduce children's risk of injury. It also decreases body fat. 


Aerobic activity and strength training help children expend energy(calories) which helps them with weight control and positive body fat distribution.

Most people tend to focus on one activity or type of exercise and think they're doing enough. Each type is different, though.
